1. Tell us about yourself and your background ?

Answer : I want to introduce myself, my name is Hafizhuddin Mahfudz, I am from South


Sumatera, my last education is Bachelor degree of Islamic Economic Law in Nuiamy University
Jakarta, I have interest about islamic economic law, because currently social environment still
exist many foul transaction, until it can make the society become oppressed. And islamic
economic law comes to give the correction about transaction, distribution, production and
consumtion base on the islamic principle that according to Al-Qur’an and sunnah.

2. Why did you choose to apply for this scholarship ?

Because this scholarship provides the program that match with my major and also i have mision
to refer to Indonesia for giving my contribution to develop this country.

3. Discuss a significant challenge you have faced and how you overcame it?

When i was in college i chosen to be a teacher in a region on Bengkulu, for 1 year i must give my
contribution to the village society. As a volunteer i must maintaince my image and my college
image. And that is one of challenging experience in my life

Secondly i figured thesis exam is one of challenging experience for me.

4. How do you plan to give back to society or make a positive impact in the future ?

After graduated from university i want to be a teacher, either regular teacer or lecturer, I have
mision to give an education for indonesian society about islamic economic, especially in riba,
which is currently still exist in the social environment. And also i have a dream to build a school
that provided for the oprhans, i will give best education for them to be the next bright
generation.

contribute to the village society. As a volunteer, I had to maintain my personal and academic
image. This was one of the most challenging experiences in my life. Secondly, I found the thesis
exam to be a significant challenge.

4. **How do you plan to give back to society or make a positive impact in the future?**

After graduating from university, I aspire to become a teacher, either a regular teacher or
lecturer. My mission is to provide education to Indonesian society about Islamic economics,
particularly addressing the issue of riba, which still exists in the current social environment.
Additionally, I dream of establishing a school for orphans, offering them the best education to
become the next bright generation.
