S+ HAVE/HAS + Participle (Vb+-ed / 3º columna vbs irregulares)
Ex. We have travelled to a lot of places
S+ HAVE/HAS + NOT + Participle
Ex. We haven’t travelled to many places
HAVE/HAS + S + Participle?
Ex. Have we travelled to many places?
We use it to talk about past experiences, actions that happened some time in your life up to
now.

SPELLING. REGULAR VERBS

● Most verbs add –ed. Wanted, looked

● Verbs ending in –e, add –d. Liked, hated, used
● Verbs ending in vowel + consonant, double the consonant, add –ed. Shopped,
stopped, planned, travelled
● Verbs ending in consonant + -y, change –y into –I, add –ed. Studied, tried, married

KEY WORDS. Pg. 135. GR. 1, 2

EVER. Se utiliza en oraciones interrogativas, con Presente Perfecto
(at any time in someone’s life): “¿Alguna vez has….?”
To ask questions. Have you ever ridden a motorbike?
Have you ever eaten seafood?
NEVER. Se utiliza en oraciones afirmativas con Presente Perfecto. Se coloca en medio de las
dos palabras.
Something we have not experienced. “Yo nunca he…..”
Maria has never been ill in her life.

Past simple: finished actions. We are interested in when the action happened.
Ex. I saw that film yesterday
Present Perfect: to connect the past and the moment of speaking.
We are not interested in when the action happened.
Ex. I’ve already seen that film you are talking about.
