PUPILLAGE SUMMARY
CHECKLIST (FOR ALL
W.M STATES - 2021)
VERY IMPORTANT
START OF CHAMBERING
(E.G: START DATE - Step 4: Make 32 copies of Borang 2 (stapled in
02.01.2020) sets of 2), and serve it to RKKK at Kuala Lumpur
High Court (for non-Klang Valley, courier will
do).
Step 1: Fill in Borang 1, Affidavit and Borang 2.
Step 2: Affirm the Affidavit and sign all the 3 Step 5: (Can also be done later together with
documents. Step 7) Make a copy of your B1, Affidavit & B2,
Step 3: E-File the 3 documents separately and serve it to your State Bar, Malaysian Bar, and
AGC. Keep acknowledgement of receipt for

SHORT CALL HEARING DATE

Step 8: Draft separate AOS for service of B1B2
and B345. Avoid common mistakes by referring to
the Full Guide.
Step 9: After serving your B345 to the 3 bodies,
call State Bar and Malaysian Bar to get your
Letter of No Objection (within 4 days to 2 weeks).
E-File the LNO ASAP upon receipt.
Step 10: View Short Call results at RKKK during
Short Call Date (no need to go for Hearing).
Note: For non-Klang Valley Pupils, a Mover must
attend your Short Call hearing at Court.
Step 11: E-File Draft Order and Fair Order. Serve
the extracted Fair Order to the 3 bodies.
FILING OF SHORT CALL PAPERS
(CAN BE DONE AS EARLY AS
ONE WEEK AFTER FILING OF B1)
E.G: 09.01.2020
Step 6: Fill in Borang 3 (Saman Dalam Kamar),
Borang 4 (to be affirmed by Master) & Borang
5 (to be affirmed by Pupil). E-File and extract
the sealed B3 which will contain your Short
Call Hearing Date.
Note: For non-Klang Valley, use Saman Pemula
Step 7: Serve extracted B3, B4 & B5 to State
Bar, Malaysian Bar and AGC.

TASKS TO COMPLETE
FOR LEGAL AID AND (IDEAL TIMELINE: 3RD
ETHICS COURSE MONTH - 8TH MONTH)
Tasks Checklist:
Step 12: Sign up for Legal Aid (usually done 1) Obtain and pay for your BM Exemption Cert
during your 1st or 2nd month of Pupillage). (this takes 1 month for LPQB to prepare).
Step 13: Sign up for Malaysian Bar Ethics Course 2) Obtain Legal Aid Completion Letter.
(usually done during your 1st/2nd month of
Pupillage). There 3 stages to be completed - 3) Complete Ethics Course (8 CPD Points here).
Objective, Essay & Seminar. These are to be done
ideally starting from the 4th month to 7 month in. 4) Obtain another 4 CPD Points (via 2 courses).

Step 14: Complete your Legal Aid (ideally by the 5) Pay RM230 to the M.Bar DB Board for your
8th month). If not possible, opt for fast track. Admission and Instrument Fee (1 mth before end).
END OF PUPILLAGE & LONG CALL HEARING AND
FILING OF LONG CALL PAPERS ADMISSION TO THE BAR

completed & collect all the required documents that you relevant bodies and efile AOS for them.

Step 16: Fill in your Borang 6 (Affidavit), 7 and 8 (B7 and B8
are exhibits of your B6). Prepare Sijil Pengesahan Dokumen
and Notis Perbicaraan. E-File them all. Deposit your original
documents with RKKK physically and wait for extraction of
SPD and NP (which will reveal your Long Call Date).
Note: For non-Klang Valley pupils, you need to fill in the
Transfer Form 1 week earlier to hear your call at respective
state. Applies also to pupils wanting to transfer to other HC.
b) Buy your robe, bib and wing collar
shirt (for males). Ensure you have a
mover (It's actually your Master's
responsibility). Prepare speech.
c) Prepare Draft Order to be signed on
Hearing Day and e-file Fair Order.
