procrastination serves in your life. You can't come up with an effective solution if
you don't really understand the root of the problem. As with most problems,
awareness and self-knowledge are the keys to figuring out how to stop
procrastinating. For a lot of people acquiring this insight about how procrastination
protects them from feeling like they are not able enough, and keeping it in mind
when they are tempted to fall into familiar, unproductive, procrastinating habits goes
a long way to solving the problem. For instance, two psychologists, Jane Burka and
Lenora Yuen, who have helped many people overcome procrastination, report in
their article, "Mind Games Procrastinators Play" (Psychology Today, January, 1982),
that for many students "understanding the hidden roots of procrastination often
seems to weaken them" (p.33). Just knowing our true reasons for procrastinating
makes it easier to stop.

NEVER felt afraid of failing or making a mistake. This conclude that most of the
students here in Purisima National High School aware of complying their works and
assignments when to pass it on time. They are aware that procrastination has been
rampant and relevant in this time of learning, but still they value the deadline that
was given to them.

According to Oxford Learning “Procrastination can have a negative effect on

students' schoolwork, grades, and even their overall health. Students who procrastinate
experience higher levels of frustration, guilt, stress, and anxiety—in some cases leading to
serious issues like low self-esteem and depression’, that is why procrastination awareness is
a big help.

the teachers do not allowed us to enter the room, because they are busy in classes.
After that we discovered along the tally survey that 52% of Senior High Students
sometimes avoid getting started on difficult tasks and 1% of Senior High Students
never afraid of failing or making a mistake. They lure to concentrate on irrelevance
things and this contributes to their poor academic performance on their studies.
Therefore many students prefer to postpone the task and do pleasure things which
they cannot benefit from it. Procrastination will always be in every corner of student’s
attitude most especially in unmotivated situation.
