STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study aimed to determine on how the global pandemic affected the
mental health and academic performance of the students specifically the students of
Dipaculao National High School.
Specifically it sought to answer the following questions.
1. What are the experiences of the students during the pandemic?
2. Did the pandemic have a psychological impact on the students during the
global pandemic?
3. Did the student’s grades have dropped or increased?
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This study is beneficial to the following:

a.Students
This study can help on finding out what the students experienced when the
pandemic hit and would also help them know what are the ways they can
cope with it.
b. Teachers
To provide additional help on making lesson plans and how they can help
on the students who are having trouble academically
c.Parents
Can help them spot signs that their children may have a failing mental
health and can help them specifically on what trouble that may come in
their way
