My Mask

Have you ever felt like you needed to wear several masks to fit in? We all hide "parts of ourselves" because
we fear rejection. They are normal parts of life, but not the best ones. How would your mask look if you had to
show people who you are? Make a mask using the template.

1. Describe the image that you want to portray in your mask?

As you can see the mask that I portray is the people pleasing mask If I wear a people-pleasing mask, my
self-esteem depends on the acceptance from others. I may often go out of your way to make sure other
people around me are happy. Making others happy gives you a sense of self-worth. You may live with
extra anxiety related to making sure you’re making others around them happy.

2. How would you describe what people typically know about what you do or about your life?

The people that know about me, only know the public me. They know my name but not my whole
existence, they only know the part of my life or my side that I show to them, for example being a nice person
with a good heart, it's also depends to the person than I encounter if they're nice to me then definitely I will be
nice to them too.

3. Explain how your personality is really like (what you really love to do that not everyone knows or what your
life is really like)?

My personality that I love is being a person who cares too much for the person she loves. Not
everyone knows that I'm a very loving and caring person, especially to the people I love. What I love to do is
care for others because I also want to feel the same way. Sometimes I wish I had someone like me in my life.

4. Are there any similarities or differences between your own descriptions as compared to that of the others
about you??

Yes there are similarities and differences between my own description of my personality and
others, due to the fact that they only know the side or part of me that I only shown to them but not exactly
who I am, they know my name but not my whole personality.
