1. List the stated objectives/purposes of this lesson (What do you want the student to
learn and why?)
The objective of this lesson is to teach students how to make a stand on various issues
by identifying factual statements and opinions, giving their own ideas or opinions about
current issues, developing a strong, clear claim or position statement, and supporting
their position with research and details.

2. How will you connect this lesson with the learner’s prior knowledge and lessons
that may follow?
This lesson connects with the learners' prior knowledge by building on their understanding of
factual statements and opinions. It also prepares them for future lessons by developing their
critical thinking and argumentation skills.

3. What closure activities are you planning that will allow your learners to
demonstrate that they are meeting the objectives?

The closure activities will include a discussion where students will demonstrate their ability
to make a stand on a given issue, supported by research and details.

4. Are there any common difficulties and or misconception that you anticipate in
teaching the lesson? If so, how will you address them?
Some students may struggle with differentiating between factual statements and opinions. To
address this, I will provide clear examples and explanations.

5. What resources are you going to use in this lesson?


The resources for this lesson include the Quarter 3 Module 6, Teacher’s Guide, Learner’s
Materials, Textbook, Additional Materials from the Learning Resource (LR) portal, and Video
Explainer Clips.

6. What are the special learning needs in your classroom?


The special learning needs in my classroom include students with varying levels of English
proficiency and different learning styles.

7. How will you differentiate instruction for those learners?


To differentiate instruction, I will provide additional support for students who need it, such
as providing extra examples and offering one-on-one assistance.

8. As you planned this lesson, why did you select these instructional strategies and or
methods of delivery?
I selected these instructional strategies because they align with the learning objectives and
cater to different learning styles. The use of games and discussions will engage students and
promote active learning.

9. Share some ways that your lesson plan demonstrates the attainment of your lesson
objectives.
The lesson plan demonstrates the attainment of the objectives by providing clear subtasks
and activities that allow students to practice and apply the skills they are learning.

10. Are there any areas you would like for me to provide feedback?
I would appreciate feedback on the clarity of the instructions, the engagement of the
students, and any suggestions for improvement.
