Rationale

Holy Cross College of Bunawan, Inc. believes that the quest for excellence is an ongoing process where possibilities can
turn into realities by putting together the right human ingredients. The continuous upsurge of new technological advancements
and the full implementation of educational reforms like the K – 12 program demand that the school operations be strengthened to
ensure the excellent delivery of services especially in the area of instruction and effective implementation of priority programs.
The onset of emerging educational trends and the changing needs of the clients greatly challenge the administration to
provide year – round opportunities to upgrade and update the faculty and non-teaching personnel in terms of work attitudes,
management skills and competencies that ensure enhanced capabilities to create, innovative and expand their options in
effectively performing their functions, duties and responsibilities.
Hence, this Faculty and Personnel year – round Development Program was formulated and implemented giving
importance to:
A. In – House Seminars, Workshops, Trainings and Conference
B. Off – Campus Seminars, Workshops, Trainings and Conferences
C. Spiritual Formation, Exposure Trips and Travel Opportunities
Through this development program construct, it is hoped that excellent productivity outcomes can be consistently
achieved in the workplace.
Objectives:

This program aims to:

1. Enhance the personal advancement professional development and spiritual formation of the teaching and non –
teaching personnel.
2. Provide a variety of training opportunities to update employees through attendance in seminars, workshops and
trainings aligned with their lines of expertise and responsive to their work expressed needs.
3. Developed and sustain qualified, competent and committed personnel.
4. Strategically prepare employees to fill the needs of specific priority program offerings of the school.
