Control-M Workload Automation Admin: (Scheduling)

 Applications: BMC Control-M ver9.0.


 Handled different Change requests to delete, change, and reactivate the job in Control-M.
 Validation and verification of XML’s before migrating Batch Jobs into production.
 Managing incident, changes and problem tickets is the key deliverable associated with it.
 Creating table specific User daily, cyclic jobs, file transfer jobs, database jobs managing Time Zone
Tables.
 Removing the job from schedule for next day, Removing In conditions, adding new conditions to Jobs.

Control-M Workload Automation: (Monitoring)


 Handling different Kind of alerts such as "job late start alert", "Job start Alert", "Job Failure Alert", "Job
running longer than the expected time" and informing the same to application teams as mentioned in the
Documentation. Performing further feasibility study for the takeover of the “Trac and Trace” batch
schedules within Control-M for the end client.
 Performing of different type’s production job requests i.e. order force, Run jobs with different
parameters, Delete, Force OK jobs and verify their execution.
 Reporting all production batch job failures identified in Control-m through ticketing tool Pulse and Phone call
escalation within SLAs.
 The role consisted of the overview of the batch schedules, what are all the jobs, their purpose,
sequence/dependencies.
 Checklist: Daily batch & Daily checklist. Performing everything on time as per the checklist.
 Executing and monitoring jobs in production environment and scheduling them to ensure all jobs and
reports execute successfully.
 Interact with Clients on a daily Basis for the daily and weekly updates related to Site
performance like Severity issues handled, Productivity, etc.
 Providing detailed reports on any outages or major incidents experienced in the production environment
relating to the services directly supervised Scheduling new jobs and monitoring jobs into the production.
