HUNTING AND GATHERING SOCIETY

 People generally live in tents and there are no permanent homes because they transfer from one
place to another to search for grasslands for their animals.

AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
 The society features large-scale and long-term cultivation of crops.
 This society’s economy is based on producing and maintaining crops and farmland.
FEUDAL SOCIETY
 This society is based on the ownership of land.
 In this society, those who own land are the most powerful and influential.

INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY
This society uses machinery in producing goods and services.

POST-INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY
The society is based on knowledge, information, and technology.
In this society, the population is composed of millions of people settling in large cities, with globalization as
a dominant experience.
