AUTOBIOGRAPHY

My name is Felicia Maydena. I am 16 years old. I was born on 2 nd May 2005. I am

in third grade of Xaverius 1 Senior High School and majored (majoring) in
science. I am expected to finish my high school at the end of June 2022. My family
has six members. There are my father, mother, two younger sisters, one younger
brother, and me. My father is an entrepreneur, my mother is a housewife, my first
younger sister is in the third grade of junior high school, my second younger sister
is in the second grade of junior high school, and my younger brother is in the
fourth grade of elementary school.

When I was in elementary school, I really had an interest in learning Mandarin. I

always got a ( a hilang ) high score (s) and took the HSK 2 exam. But (However,)
since I was in junior high school, I was surprised by a lot of work that I have to do,
so I started to lose interest in studying Mandarin and forgot about it. I started to get
interested again in the third grade of senior high school. So, I started to set a goal. I
am doing my best to study hard by reviewing the materials that I have already
forgotten and studying a lot of new materials. Finally, I took HSK 3 with a pretty
good score. (I started setting a goal. I did my best to study hard by reviewing the
materials that I had already forgotten and by studying a lot of new materials.
Finally, I took HSK 3 with a pretty good score.) which one?

Now I have already taken (am taking) Mandarin courses every Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday. I practice how to read and listen to dialogue, narration and
learning traditional characters and culture. I also learn (am also learning) how to
make (compose) sentences and do other exercises. Even though it's hard, I still find
it attractive and have fun when I study.

I was a good student. From my elementary school to this day I have always held to
the top 5 in my class. When my rank went down, I became upset and very
ambitious. But since the pandemic, I have found it (is) difficult to learn because I
have to understand it online through the meet (MEET / ZOOM). Now I have done
a face-to-face school and I am so much more familiar with the lesson that I am
confident I can maintain my position.

Besides my parents, my friends and my family also support me to study in Taiwan.

(My parents support me to study in Taiwan so much and my friends as well). Why
do they support me studying (to syudy) in Taiwan? Because they know that
Taiwan is a good country and they believe that I can do well to live independently,
learn how to manage my own finances and study Mandarin. Taiwan has many
complete facilities that make many students (are) interested in studying there. And
(hilangkan and) I really hope I can study in Taiwan. I really want to reach the
dreams that I want. I will do my best to be the best wherever I am.
