In line with this, we humbly request for no classes on March 11, 2024, to formally open
the week-long event and on March 15, 2024, to close it with the most-awaited
competitions. Moreover, attached with this letter are the details of each event that will
be held in the week-long celebration. With this, we would like to request the following
equipment/areas on their respective dates:

i. Program Facilitators (SSC Officers, Socio-Cultural Development,
and CCC Dibujo Creatives) - will facilitate the entire activities and
ensure the probability of equal service to those who will join and
participate.

a. All enrolled CCC students are eligible to join the contest EXCEPT the official
members of the organization CCC Indak Rizaliw.
b. Outsiders or those who are not enrolled in the CCC are also not allowed to be part of
a group/s. Failure to comply will result in an automatic disqualification of the group.
c. The contest shall commence on March 15, 2024, from 10am-12nn only at LLC
auditorium/JRMS auditorium. Failure to come on time will have a 1-point deduction
to the total score.
d. To join, the leader of the group shall fill out the registration form. The group must
have a minimum of 5 members and a maximum of 7 members. FIRST COME,
FIRST SERVE.
e. Groups must upload the music of their choice in a Google drive folder provided by
the Supreme Student Council with label—no cassette tapes allowed, no live band or
musicians allowed. It should be submitted 5 days prior to the event. There should be
a backup copy in case the submitted music fails to play during the actual
competition.
f. The music must be at least three (3) minutes but not more than five (5) minutes. Any
excess in time will result in 1 point deduction per minute to the total score.
g. Any attire that is suitable for the event and is comfortable to wear in the performance
will do. Avoid wearing sexy and revealing clothes.
h. The dance steps must come from a KPop dance group. However, the participants
are allowed to add or change choreography. Take note that the steps must still be
appropriate, failure to comply will result in disqualification.
i. Each group will pass their information through the Google drive folder (provided in
the Google form). This file shall be renamed into your group name and shall contain
the name & picture of each member of the group, age, year, and section (with a
picture of CCC school ID). There must also be a group picture that will be used in the
event.
j. Judges of the competition should not be related or closely affiliated with any
contestant. They are also refrained from talking to any contestant at any time,
especially regarding the competition and judging themselves.
k. There will be three (3) winners who will receive a cash prize and a certificate of
recognition. 3,000 pesos for 1st place, 2,000 pesos for 2nd place, and 100 pesos for
3rd place. All contestants will receive a certificate of participation.
B. ACOUSTIC NIGHT
Guidelines:
b. This will be held at CCC View, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM March 11, 2024.
c. There will be an open mic session after the sequence of songs from Himig Lakbayan.
d. The Supreme Student Council will provide lights and other technical equipment, while
Himig Lakbayan will provide instruments for the acoustic session.
Guidelines:
a. The organizations under Council of Student Leaders shall create a booth that is related
to the theme, CCC HIRAYA 2024: A Week of Love for Arts
d. The booths shall only last for three (3) days, March 12 to March 14, 2024.
g. The tents shall be placed at CCC View. The CSL Chairman shall decide with the
organization's tent assignment.
D. MOVIE SCREENING
Guidelines:
a. The Movie Screening shall serve as a fundraising activity of the Supreme Student
Council during this week-long event.
c. A Movie Ticket will be sold at a price of P12.00 per person in each movie of their
choice.
d. Snacks and drinks will be sold outside the JMC Building. Attendees are permitted to
bring food inside the venue.
f. Public Display of Affection (PDA) is strictly not allowed and will be strictly
observed.
E. RUNWAY COMPETITION
Guidelines:
b. Registration: The students who are interested in joining the competition shall
complete the registration form two weeks before the said event. Late registrations will
strictly be not entertained.
d. Each team must be comprised of one to two (1-2) designers and one (1) model.
e. Each team will provide their own clothing material (curtain/blanket, etc.). The dresses
must be made only and exclusively of the material provided. The use of RTW (ready-
to-wear) clothes is PROHIBITED. However, the use of pins and other sewing materials
is allowed. If the designers decide to have other accessories and decorations, it must
also be crafted or improvised. The designs remain at the discretion of the designers.
f. Through a Google form, designers should submit their planned designs whether a
picture or a hand drawing or sketch of their design. This is necessary for the pre-
judging part of the competition. The submitted designs should look like the actual
design that they will create, otherwise, it will not be acknowledged. (Included in the
registration form)
g. A brief description of the design must also be submitted. (Included in the registration
form)
h. Each team will be given two (2) hours to accomplish the dress. Please be guided with
the schedule:
1. On-the-spot Photography
Guidelines:
a. All enrolled CCC students are eligible to join the contest.
b. The contest shall commence on March 12, 2024, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm
only.
c. The theme should follow the term “Hiraya” which means "to bring out the talent
and unique abilities of an individual”.
Contest Proper:
b. The contestant shall submit their entries on the Google Form provided, before 3:00
pm. The forms will close at exactly 3:00 pm. No considerations will be given.
c. The photo entry should be provided with a corresponding Photo Title, Description,
Device Used, and Caption.
Photo Entry:
Guidelines:
a. Color correcting is allowed, however, the photo shall not be edited or manipulated
using photo editing apps.
d. The contestant shall affix their signature and initials on the bottom right of the
picture.
b. The contest shall commence on March 12, 2024, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm
only.
c. The medium that contestants will use should be 1/2 illustration board. This shall be
provided by the contestant.
d. All art materials (pencils, markers, coloring materials) shall be provided by the
contestants.
e. The poster should follow the theme “CCC HIRAYA 2024: A Week of Love for Arts”.
h. Signature and name initials shall be affixed at the bottom right corner of the
canvas.
i. All entries shall become the property of the CCC afterward and will be displayed
during the open art exhibit.
k. There will be three winners who will receive a cash prize and a certificate of
recognition, P500 for 1st place, P300 pesos for 2nd place, and P200 for 3rd place.
Other participants who joined the contest will receive a certificate of participation.
The winners will be announced on March 15, 2024.
3. Soap Carving
Guidelines:
b. The contest shall commence on March 12, 2024, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm
only.
c. The theme should not be limited to “Hiraya: A Week of Love for Arts.”
d. All contestants shall be given a bar of Perla Soap provided by the Supreme
Student Council.
e. The contestants shall be given 2-3 hours to finish the artwork. A designated room
will be provided for all contestants.
f. All carving materials (plastic knife/scalpel, sticks, pins, pencil, toothpick, tissues,
etc.) shall be provided by the contestant. NO DANGEROUS or sharp metal tools
will be allowed.
g. All entries shall be displayed during the “Open Art Exhibit,” afterward, the artwork
will be returned to the artist.
j. There will be three winners who will receive a cash prize and a certificate of
recognition, P500 for 1st place, P300 pesos for 2nd place, and P200 for 3rd place.
Other participants who joined the contest will receive a certificate of participation.
The winners will be announced on March 15, 2024.

c. The medium that contestants will use should be a long vellum paper provided by the
Supreme Student Council.
d. Pencils (any kind) will be the primary tool that will be used in the competition. This
shall be provided by the contestant.
e. A set of people will act as a model throughout the competition proper and will serve
as the reference in creating their work.
f. The contestants shall be given 2-3 hours to finish the artwork. A designated room will
be provided for all contestants.
g. Signature and name initials shall be affixed at the bottom right corner of the paper.
h. All entries shall be displayed during the “Open Art Exhibit,” afterward, the artwork
will be returned to the artist/contestant.
j. There will be three winners who will receive a cash prize and a certificate of
recognition, P500 for 1st place, P300 pesos for 2nd place, and P200 for 3rd place.
Other participants who joined the contest will receive a certificate of participation.
The winners will be announced on March 15, 2024.
a. All enrolled CCC students are eligible to submit any form of artwork.
b. The Open Art Exhibition shall be held at Roman Lazaro Hall from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
c. All submissions from the Visual Arts Competition shall be displayed accordingly at
the Roman Lazaro Hall.

e. The contestant must sing the song accompanied by a minus- one, no live playing
on musical instrument shall be allowed.
g. Songs must be appropriate and does not contain vulgar words and profanity.
Having so will result to automatic disqualification.
h. There will be three (3) winners who will receive a cash prize and a certificate of
recognition. 3,000 pesos for 1st place, 2,000 pesos for 2nd place, and 100 pesos
for 3rd place. All contestants will receive a certificate of participation.
a. Open to all students at the City College of Calamba. Official members of the
organization, CCC Himig Lakbayan is not allowed to create their band or join a
band.
c. The contest is limited to 10 bands only. First come, first serve basis.
e. Each band will be given 3 minutes for preparation and 10 minutes for their
performance. Every exceeding minute is equivalent to 1 point deduction to the
overall score.
f. Participants must bring their own instruments; drum set, and guitar/bass amplifiers
will be provided by the event organizers.
h. Explicit lyrics are not allowed and will automatically result in disqualification.
i. All band participants must arrive at Jose Rizal Coliseum at 3:00 PM for briefing
and drawing of sequence.
j. For registration, kindly fill out the Google Forms provided by the Supreme Student
Council.
k. There will be prizes given for Champion, 1st and 2nd Places. Consolation gifts will
be given to other contestants.
