The pie charts under illustrate the distribution of water consumption by portion for various intentions in

six sectors in the world.

Overall, the utilization of water by each sector is distinct from another and every individual continent or
region has its own amount of water intake but agricultural consumption is the highest for the majority of
regions provided, while industrial and domestic sectors absorb less quantity for most areas but not all,

Accordance to the detailed information, south America, Africa, and two regions in Asia their agriculture
sector absorb a huge water quantity ranging from 70-80 percent and that is certainly due to their
geographic location, culture, and economic system, on the contrary North America, Europe share
different reasons to those I named previously so their main focus is on other type of sectors their water
consumption in agriculture sector is below 40 percent.

On the other hand, half of the amount of water absorbed in North America and Europe is for the
industrial sector and it is obvious since those countries are known for their modern technology,
international companies, and space exploration… but that does not mean in other sectors they consume
small quantities because as provided even agriculture sector consume more than third of overall water
intake, for the domestic sector consumption is below 20 percent for all areas.
