Greetings from the Global Covenant of Mayors Southeast Asia (GCoM SEA) Secretariat hosted by the
United Cities and Local Governments Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) Secretariat.
Under the framework of the GCoM Asia Project funded by the European Union, 16 pilot cities in
Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand completed the development of the Climate Action Plan
(CAP) in 2023. As the CAP has been completed, GCoM SEA will be organising a webinar for GCoM
signatories in Southeast Asia. The webinar will be held under the theme “City-Led Climate Solutions:
Insights from COP28 and CAPs Showcase.”

Platform : Zoom (interpretation in Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese will be provided)
We would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the webinar. This webinar will provide an
opportunity to learn best practices from pilot cities and encourage cross-border learning on Local
Governments at COP28 and City-Level Climate Action Plans.
