A RESOLUTION TO REQUEST ASSISTANCE FROM THE PHILIPPINE CENTER FOR

POSTHARVEST DEVELOPMENT AND MECHANIZATION THRU THE RICE
COMPETITIVENESS ENHANCEMENT FUND - MECHANIZATION COMPONENT
BOARD RESOLUTION No. 2

WHEREAS, the Bagong Anyo Farmers Irrigators association INC. with address at Barangay
Bambanaba Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija realizes that having control over all aspects of the palay and
rice industry is the only way to advance for agricultural development;

WHEREAS, to improve its productivity and save postharvest losses, the Bagong Anyo
Farmers Irrigators Association INC. needed to acquire basic production and postharvest
facilities such as:

WHEREAS, the the Bagong Anyo Farmers Irrigators association INC has a total of
1,109.78 hectares of irrigated and 100 hectares of non-irrigated rice land of members;

WHEREAS, the the Bagong Anyo Farmers Irrigators association INC. has 694 farmer-
members that will be directly benefit under the project and has access to the services of
expert personnel to manage and operate the said machinery/facilities;

WHEREAS, the proposed location of the project is bounded by rice area with following details:

availing/hiring/assigning the following personnel:

WHEREAS, the Bagong Anyo Farmers Irrigators association INC . has machinery shed as
counterpart for the project with an area of 2800 sqm

WHEREAS, the Bagong Anyo Farmers Irrigators association INC. has available cash for
the revolving fund/initial operating cost amounting to:
Php 167,000,00

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of President Jovito A. Tabubuca and duly seconded by Vice
President Jose Daileg it is hereby RESOLVED that the Bagong Anyo Farmers Irrigators
association INC _ is requesting assistance from PHILIPPINE CENTER FOR
POSTHARVEST DEVELOPMENT AND MECHANIZATION for the acquisition of the
above requested technologies.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that Mr. Alvin S. CACHO Chairman/Head of BOARD OF

DERECTORS OF the Bagong Anyo Farmers Irrigators association INC shall be designated
as the authorized representative to transact with the DA-PHILMECH and/or sign
documents for and in behalf of the Bagong Anyo Farmers Irrigators association INC with
respect to the requested assistance, with his/her three (3) specimen signatures shown
below this resolution.
