The given two maps inllustrate developments taking place in Colwick Arts Centre

from 2005 to nowadays. Overall this Art Center wittnessed a transformation in

structure, expand in scale and modernize infastructure. Another noticeable point is
that in prensent day, The wasteland in front of the Centre has been greened by
growing many trees and has been transformed to use as place for outdoor
activities namely outdoor exhibitions and performances area.

In the past the snack bar was in the upper left - corner of the Art Centre, it was
demolished and built into a café area located at the bottom left- hand corner of the
campus. The meeting room was relocated in the top left-hand corner and built an
additional building meeting room side by side. Next to the meeting room 1 is the
drama studio newly constructed. The toilet was resituated to the bottom right –
hand conner and become smaller.

In the old days, The concert hall intergrated with the cinema and placed in
the centre of Arts exhibitions precinct, but in currently they split into 2
different building. The cinema is on the top and opposite the drama studio
and the concert hall erected in the far right on the campus near the cinema
and toilet. In the middle of the campus, the Central exhibition area was set
up to serve exhibiton activities. The information desk remain unchanged.
Another notable changes is that the emty land in front of the Colwick Arts
Centre has been planted with many trees and built the new stage for outdoor
exhibitions also preformance area.
