The 2 maps describe the development of Colwick Arts Centre between 2005 and

today. Overall, we can see there are many changes during the period, including new
buildings and recreation areas.
Firstly, there were two galleries located in the right side of the area with two
invidiual buildings, whereas now the concert hall is there because it was expanded.
The Gallery was moved towards the left of the Art Centre. The concert hall and
cinema building was demolished; however, in their place the government placed a
central exhibition area and also constructed two additional building next to each
other for a cinema and a drama studio. The meeting room was relocated to the left
of the drama studio as two separate small rooms instead of one large.
In addition, the information desk was kept in place. The wasteland was developed
a new recreation area with a stage, trees and outdoor exhibition and performance
area. Finally, the toilet was moved to the right side of the area, and it was also
decreased in size.
