Keeping track of the latest development in technology, NASAKA RO Plant is designed using the

proposed you the latest and most advanced technology for perfect treatment of water as
described below:

RAW WATER PUMP

Due to the NASAKA`s compact design compact, you won’t need any space-consuming foundation
to install raw water pump in the NASAKA RO plants. Raw water pump is there to feed water into the
system

PRESSURE SAND FILTER

Raw water is passed through a dual media filter to remove undisclosed/suspended solids and
precipitated impurities of iron and manganese. Filtration with sand filters featuring different
mediums is applied during the water treatment, to eliminate dissolved impurities from the water.

ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER

Water stream coming from coarse filter is passed through activated carbon filter bed, which ensures
odor and colorless clear filtrate free from chlorine. Employed in the process to remove organic
compounds from water, carbon filter is also used to eliminate or extract chlorine. It not only makes the
water suitable for use in manufacturing processes, but also makes it suitable for discharge.

ANTI-SCALANT DOSING SYSTEM TO CONDITION RO STREAM

Filtered water after above operations is injected/dosed with an anti-scalant solution, where hardness
forming ions i.e. Calcium & Magnesium are turned soft resulting in reduction of hardness to bear
minimum and producing conditioned water for desalination in downstream RO equipment's. Used as
pretreatment water additive to prevent scaling on RO membrane, antiscalant dosing gives the RO
membrane a longer life and also protects the RO Plant’s functioning. Before the feed water hits the

RO membrane, this antiscalant is injected into it.

FINE FILTRATION TO CONDITION RO STREAM

After antiscalant treatment, water is passed to multi cartridge filter of 5 micron rating to produce water
suitable for RO feed. To get extra sparkle and superior clarity in the water, which has already passed
sand filtration method, micron cartridge filter focus on eliminating very fine suspended impurities,
particles, chlorine traces and colloidal matter etc
 HIGH PRESSURE PUMP
The pipe-like construction makes the pump easy to integrate into the piping of the RO system,
eliminating the need of any additional pipe-pump installation. The high pressure pump by Blue Mount is
maintenance- free product and its motor units are encapsulated and are very well sealed and
protected.

REVERSE OSMOSIS ELEMENT

Semi permeable membrane to eliminate molecules, iron and particles from water, is used in the RO
Plant to make sure that the water you get is healthy, pure and safe. This system removes Total
Dissolved Solids by the principle of Reverse Osmosis. The pressurized water is diverted into two
streams as Permeate (product water) and Concentrate (reject water) as the result of Reverse Osmosis
across the semi- permeable membrane. Process at the rejection rate of 95-98%.Since the membranes
arrest any impurities larger than 0.0001 micron even the bacteria, virus and microorganism get
arrested.

ULTRA VOILET SYSTEM

Ultraviolet water purification is the most effective method for disinfecting bacteria from the water.
Ultraviolet (UV) rays penetrate harmful pathogens in your home’s water and destroy illness-causing
microorganisms by attacking their genetic core (DNA). This is extremely efficient in eliminating their
ability to reproduce. Disinfecting your water with Ultraviolet light is exceptionably simple, effective and
environmentally safe. UV systems destroy 99.99% of harmful microorganisms without adding chemicals
or changing your water’s taste or odor. UV water purification is usually used with other forms of
filtration such as reverse osmosis systems or carbon block filters.

external valves and inlet fittings.
