The Preparation
It was Saturday that we already shopped for the ingredients that we will use. We also shopped for designs, I also
printed places and props to show Indian culture. On Monday I woke up at 5am and I came to school early. We
immediately started stripping, washing the ingredients and tools and lining up the things to be used. We have
five cooked meals, First is Appetizer, salad, main dish, dessert and Drinks. Those events were very fun because
we honed our skills in cooking food from other countries. It's tiring but it's all worth it. The only difficulty I had
was softening the Basmati rice, because it is not like the normal rice that can be bought in the Philippines, but
you have to watch and stir it because it can't stick together, it can't be overcooked because it will crumble .
Another challenge for me was our Dessert, because it has an Ice cream ingredient, which should be eaten right
away because it will melt. Overall this event was fun, even though there were a few problems we were able to
solve.
