Since my proposed study is Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, I

believe I will gain valuable skills and knowledge which will be very useful in my
teaching. As I am also a person who is making a living in teaching English, this area
of study is truly required for me in order to produce more students who are proficient
in English throughout the country. Not only that, but as a volunteer, I teach English
to child refugees who are studying at charity school in our city. Every time I teach
them, I always have a thought in my mind. That is, I want all students from different
diversity to have an equal education. With those experiences, I have involved as a
part in my country’s development. In my proposed study, it includes technological
and pedagogical related things in education as well. Therefore, I hope I will obtain
precious knowledge in educational technology in order to attract the excitement of
learners and to provide an effective learning environment to the students.
Furthermore, I believe I will get all of the crucial theories, and teaching practices
that a teacher should know. Therefore, by studying TESOL, I hope to get
improvements in my future English language, as well as technological and
pedagogical advances. As I am working in depth in language teaching, I trust this
study program will further my knowledge and skills to enable me to advance my
career as a professional English teacher.
