Part 1.1: BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

PLAN AND DESIGN
We the AMT 2-B is task to create a retractable landing gear. WE decided that all members should have specific. We
disseminate the job some gather materials, some are canvassing and other is in documentary, but all of us is
subjected to be the part in contribution of money. We plan that the landing will use gears and corkscrew as a main
mechanism to move the landing gear and using the dynamo motor to retract and extend automatically. At the end of
the process it should be (landing gear) function as the same concept used in the aircraft.

Part 1.2: OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

 Is to give our school’s AMT students instructions and suggestions on how to make a landing gear.
 Impart knowledge on landing gear operation on fellow students.
 Provide information about the primary function of the landing gear.
 Educate other pupil about the many types of the landing gear.
 Give precise details about the landing gear that is utilized on a given aircraft

Part 1.3: PROJECT PERIOD

  Preparing all the tools and materials to be used.
 Collecting money and different materials that have been bought

Day 2, November 7, 2023

 Continuation completing the materials that we have to use

 Cutting of sheet metal, screw jack, and electrical motor
DAY 3, November 8, 2023

 Prepare to assemble all the materials to be used on making a landing gear (if there will be enough time to
start reconstructing then, we agreed to continue.
 Start reconstruct the landing gear. (Continuation if the landing gear was started to reconstruct yesterday.)
DAY 4, November 9,2023

 Finalization of the landing gear.

 Assembly of the electrical components.

DAY 5, November 10,2023

 Continuation of the electrical component assembly.

 Project testing.
DAY 6, November 11,2023

 Allowance for the project testing. (if things did not go as planned)
DAY 7, November 12,2023

 Finalization.
 Ready for submission on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2023

 On this project we want to make a retractable landing gear mechanism.
