The company’s name ITC was originally an acronym for Imperial
Tobacco Company of India Limited. In 1970, it was renamed India
Tobacco Company Limited (ITC full form). India Tobacco
Company Limited was later abbreviated as I.T.C Ltd in 1974.

east, east and north They largely focus on “food safety and

hours for 7 days and shift is divided into 3 i.e 8 hrs per shift

( Fingers and snack noodles)
4. Production Lines : 4 for finger snacks, 2 for noodles, 1 for
potato chips. The factory mainly had production lines for ITC food
products Yippee Noodles and Bingo Tedhe Medhe Chips.

Pradesh (vertical integration)
6 . Source agency for purchase of basic inputs : ITC Panchla purchases
its basic inputs from some specific farmers and farms. These farmers
produce the crops in some certain specific way as per the requirements
of the factory
