Define performance standards as the criteria used to assess how well students have
achieved the content standards.
C. Learning Competencies/Objectives
 Clarify that learning competencies break down content standards into specific,
measurable, and observable knowledge and skills.
 Illustrate how learning competencies guide lesson planning and help track
student progress.

A. Content: Introduction for the subject coverage.
B. References: School Manual, DepEd Comprehensive guide and documents

1. Motivation
Present a brief slideshow of introduction to the students, explaining the
guidelines to be implemented during school class and introduction to the
subject coverage.
2. Analysis
Incorporate a brief Q&A session at the end of each orientation segment to
address any confusion or questions. Provide contact information for further
inquiries.
C. Abstraction
 Hands-on Activities
1. Getting to Know
- Presenting a brief background about myself to the students
- Have students write down three items on their bucket list. Collect the lists
and randomly distribute them to different students. Each student then tries

to guess who wrote the bucket list they received.
2. School regulations and Classroom rules
-Develop a quiz-style game where students answer questions related to
school regulations.
-Use a game format such as Jeopardy or Kahoot to make it interactive and
competitive.
3. Discussing subject coverage
-Provide a general overview of the subject's curriculum, including its
purpose, goals, and how it fits into the broader educational framework.
- Outline the scope and sequence of the subject, detailing the range of topics
covered and their logical order.

D. Application
Group Activity:
Directions: Create three aspirations for your life that you've yet to achieve. Gather
these lists and distribute them randomly among your peers. Challenge each
student to guess the author of the bucket list they receive.

E. Generalization
The students will summarize the key concepts they learned about the discussion.
