1. Amount of income- higher family income = greater amount the family include in budgeting ; small family income =
limited amount the family include in budgeting
2. Size and composition of the family – more family members = more allocation on basic needs. Family member with
youngs or growing up = greater allocation for basic needs.
3. Values of the family = different familes have different values and have different priorities on spending money
4. Needs and wants of the family- motivates to work harder. Needs should be prioritized in budgeting over wants.
