Conan Writes Chicago Blues
My favorite song was was the chocolate one. This
is because the beat was amazing and the pause
was really inventive. My favorite part of the song
was when he was naming the weekdays because
of the repetition. I thought this sounded like a
proper and classical blues piece from the early
1900s

Blues to ME
To me the blues is a genre of music where all
songs are similar but all have their own meaning.
The blues originated in Mississippi, Delta region. It
originated in the late 1800s and started with
Church hymns and fieldworking songs. The
singers were mostly dark skinned.

What went well? What did not go well?
In all three songs I was able to play all the F, C,
and G chord really well by heart.

What makes a 12 Bar Blues Song
The first two line of texts are both the same. The second chord is 4
notes after the first chord. For example if you start with C the
second not is F. There are 12 bars/measures. Limited amount of
chords. The big three chords is the first chord, then the fourth
chord after that, and then the fifth chord. It not usually super
depressing or happy. Specific singing type. Uses grammar from

There are 12 bars. Follows the big three chords pattern. Is
not depressing or super joyful. It is mildly joyful. Uses till and
