Details of group assignment:
1. A group of FIVE (5) students only.
2. Every group has one member appointed as group leader. Group leader has the responsibility to
submit
(i) Confirmation of group structure in MMLS
(ii) Group assignment report (soft copy) to lecturer by the deadline stated in (6).
3. Each group is required to find TWO (2) newspaper articles (1 Main and 1 Supporting) on the
similar microeconomic issue as materials for group assignment. (Local or foreign newspaper
articles published between January – December 2023).
4. The group report should contain 3 parts as follows:
(i) Introduction (Students are expected to introduce the microeconomic issue from the article.
Associate the relevant economic basic concepts and background of the issue.)
(ii) Economic Analysis (Students are expected to clearly discuss the issue by using appropriate
economic explanations and diagrams (if applicable).
(iii) Conclusion (Students are expected to give some recommendations (opinions) related to the
discussed issue.)
5. Format of assignment: Font: Times New Roman; Font size 12 in single or 1.5 spacing. Text:
Justified. The page limit for the group is between 10-15 pages (excluding the articles).
