-Studying Rizal is important because he is a hero in the Philippines. Learning about him helps us
understand our country's past, how we fought for freedom from colonial rule, and why education
and equality are important. His books are also famous and teach us valuable lessons. Plus, his
life story inspires us to make positive changes in society.
2. Describe the legal basis of the Rizal Law.
- In summary, the legal basis of the Rizal Law lies in its aim to promote patriotism, national
pride, and a deeper understanding of Philippine history and culture through the study of Jose
Rizal's life, works, and writings in educational institutions across the country.
3. Identify the purpose of RA 1425.
- The purpose of RA 1425, or the Rizal Law, is to make sure that all schools in the Philippines
teach students about Jose Rizal. This helps students learn about our national hero and understand
why he's important for our country's history and values.

1. Describe the reasons why Don Francisco chooses Rizal as the family name of his children.
- Don Francisco chose "Rizal" as the family name because it symbolized their roots in green
fields and meadows in Calamba, Laguna.
2. Explain the life of Rizal as a young boy. Compare his life when he was young to our young
boys of today.
- As a young boy, Rizal was smart and curious, enjoying playing outdoors like many kids today.
However, he faced challenges under Spanish rule and valued education more deeply.
3. Compare Rizal different from other Filipino heroes.
- Unlike other heroes who were fighters, Rizal used his intellect and writings to fight for change
peacefully, emphasizing education and unity
4. Examine your own interpretation about Rizal's first poem (Sa Aking Kababata)
- Rizal's first poem, "Sa Aking Kababata," shows his love for the Filipino language and his belief
in the youth's potential to lead and learn.

- The true love of Rizal is often considered to be Leonor Rivera, his childhood sweetheart from
his hometown of Calamba, Laguna.
3. Identify Rizal's activities during his days.
- During his lifetime, Rizal engaged in various activities, including studying, writing, advocating
for social reforms, traveling, participating in organizations like the Propaganda Movement, and
eventually, being involved in the Philippine Revolution indirectly through his writings and
influence.
4. If you’re Rizal? Will you follow his footsteps to become a better citizen of a country?
If I were Rizal, I would aspire to emulate his dedication to social justice, education, and the
betterment of society. Following his footsteps would mean actively participating in efforts to
