The journey through the enormous learning in the Marketing Dynamics module was not without its

own challenges. However, as a team every hardship fought only tightened the unity and commitment
among the team members.

I believe our persistent efforts and flexibility within the team was the triumph in our team success.
Proper delegation of work, effective communication, conflict handling, listening, and tolerating ideas
of everyone, promoted the effectiveness and efficiency of the team. Most importantly, by utilizing the
unique strengths, talent, and capabilities of each member, as a group we were able to create a
competitive advantage with the diversity presented within the team while unravelling innovative
strategies and solutions for the activities given.

The biggest learning was how important flexibility and empathy are in teamwork. We have struggled
in the beginning because of lack of these elements, up until we realized, it is the building block of a
teamwork. Therefore, we always promoted open-minded, supportive culture within the team.

One of the utterly performed areas at the beginning was allocating tasks, which led to ambiguity and
confusion as to who is responsible for which tasks. Upon realization, we had a team meeting to
discuss and better understand individual strengths, weaknesses, preferences, and expertise to allocate
future tasks in a productive manner, with a structured workflow where everyone knows what to do
and what they are responsible for.

Also, misunderstandings due to improper communication were very challenging, where some text
messages were misinterpreted, especially due to tone of the messages and implied notes, leading to
delayed output and incomplete assignments. To mitigate such circumstances, we agreed to have
regular team meetings to follow up the work and appreciate each other’s commitment to making a
better output. Through promoting a culture of openness and attentive listening, we created a more
cooperative atmosphere where ideas were shared, and issues were quickly resolved.
