Scope of Work HAIL Bakery IBL Warehouse Storage Optimization

1. Introduction:
 Provide an overview of the project, emphasizing the need to validate
existing fire protection networks and design, upgrade, install, test, and
commission a new fire protection system in alignment with NFPA/Saudi
warehouse building code standards following the replacement of existing
selective racks with new automated storage solutions.
2. Project Objectives:
 Clearly state the objectives of the project, including ensuring compliance
with safety regulations, enhancing fire protection capabilities, and
accommodating the increased storage capacity facilitated by the new
automated storage solution.
3. Design of New Fire Protection System:
 Outline the design requirements for the new fire protection system,
considering the expanded storage layout resulting from the installation of
the new automated storage solution.
 Specify the types and locations of fire suppression devices, including
sprinklers, VESD detectors, and any other necessary components to ensure
comprehensive coverage.
4. Material Procurement:
 Describe the process for procuring all necessary materials and equipment
for the installation of the new fire protection system, ensuring compliance
with NFPA/Saudi warehouse building code standards.
5. Installation:
 Provide detailed instructions for the installation of the new fire protection
system, including:
 Routing and installation of piping, valves, and fittings to
accommodate the updated storage configuration.
 Mounting and placement of sprinkler heads, VESD detectors, and
other fire suppression devices.
 Integration with existing infrastructure and automated storage
solution components.
