INTRODUCTION:

In Hail bakery IBL existing warehouse facility, we have visited site to understand the site condition and
as per approved drawing provided by Almarai. Our Scope of work includes validation of existing fire
sprinklered networks and new fire protection system design, upgrade, installation, testing and
commissioning of complete system of the packaging store warehouse after the new automated rack
installation.

Note: Existing In-Rack fire sprinkler in packaging store selective racks and Chemical storeroom fire
protection & detection system will be removed by other contractors as a part warehouse modification
project.

Scope of Work DETAILS for Fire Fighting System

 Our scope of work starts with site visit to evaluate site condition and nature of work. Already
our team visited the site.
 Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of new fire protection system as per approved
drawing and site condition.
 All the material supply to site for installation will be UL/FM certified.
 All the installation will be carried out as per NFPA/SBC standards.
 Tapping of firefighting pipes to the existing header line and take riser to specific height.
 From the riser installation of mainline and branches for new modified IN-Rack Area.
 Protection of each rack with sprinklers systems.
 All the sprinklers with pendent head will be protected by cover.
 After installation, our team will do the hydrotesting and ensure whole system is working
properly and there is no leakage is fire protection lines.
 Installation of supports (cantilever and thread rods) for fire line. Fabrication Work will be carried
out at respective building site area. (Installation includes drilling holes for support fixing,
grinding, network installation work carried at height of 4-10 Mr. using scissor lift, forklift, fixed
and mobile scaffoldings).
 Installation of firefighting pipe lines and FHCs, sprinkler lines of sizes 6,4,3, 2.5, 2, 1 ½, 1 inch,
majority of pipe lines cut, grooved, threaded and painted at respective building site. (Work
includes cutting of pipes, drilling work at height of 4-10 Mr. will be carried out with scissor lift,
fork lift fixed and mobile scaffolding)
