The world’s latest problem today is the on-going pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019
(COVID-19) that has struck the whole world.
• Are you affected by the problem?
Yes, Iam.
• How are you greatly affected by it?
In this hard time of crisis that the world especially the Philippines is currently battling
right now is the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) that brought terror, fear, anxiety, and loss of
lives to humanity. This invisible enemy causes millions of people to suffer. Personally, my way of
living changed, socially, mentally, emotionally and physically.

Open Ended Questions:

1. How did the news affect to you and your family?

 The news contains alarming information that would make everyone worry especially me and my
family. The spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in the locality is evident and serious to the extent
that we are frightened to have a single step outside of our house. The threat caused by the deadly virus
changes our daily routine, our interaction with other people, perception, and take of the current
situation, thus we devise ways to mitigate the effects of the crisis on our physical and mental aspect.
Essentially, it has a great impact our way of living.

2. What will be your suggestions to avoid this problem?

This problem which takes a lot of life and make people suffer must stop, to avoid this problem
all people must follow the guidelines and protocols set by the government, they just want their people
to be safe. Being advised not to go out when not needed is just a simple precaution for us to stay safe
and to help lessen the number of infected people day by day.

3. What will happen if all people follow your suggestions?

If all the people will follow the government’s rules then I think we will have a peaceful and a
COVID free country. I know, time will come and this country will be back to normal, where we do not
need to be afraid when we step outside, frightened that we might carry the virus and can infect other
people. By following the government’s order, it will lessen the infected people and soon to be
pronounce that Philippines is a COVID free country.

4. Do you think this problem can be solved? Why? Why not?

Yes. In these times of crisis, what we need is understanding and unity. All problems can be solved if all
people will unite and understand one another. You are not alone in this battle, we are all suffering and
together we’ll fight to have this crisis come to an end. By just doing simple ways like wearing face mask
and washing your hands, you are helping this country to be a COVID free.
