EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 6 SERIES OF 2023

CREATION OF LUPONG TAGAPAMAYAPA OF BARANGAY LAMOT 1,


CALAUAN, LAGUNA

WHEREAS, Section 1 (a) of R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the local government Code of the
Katarungang Pambarangay law notice is hereby given to constitute of Lupong
Tagapamayapa of this Barangay;

WHEREAS, Lupong Tagapamayapa is suitable for the task of conciliation considering their integrity,
impartiality, independence of mind, sense of fairness and reputation for probity in views
of their age, social standing in the community, tact, patience, resourcefulness, flexibility,
open mindedness and other relevant factors;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Mr. NESTOR M. OCAMPO, Barangay Chairman of Barangay Lamot 1,


Municipality of Calauan by virtue of the power vested upon me by Law hereby order the
creation of Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Lamot 1, Calauan, Laguna.

Section I. Composition. The Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Lamot 1, Calauan, Laguna will be
composed of the following:

Section II. Lupong Tagapamayapa shall perform the following function:

1. Exercise administrative supervision over conciliation panels (pangkat ng


tagapagkasundo).
2. Meet regularly once a month to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas among its
members and public on matters relevant to the amicable settlement of disputes and to
enable various conciliation panel members to share with one another their observations
and experiences in effecting speedy resolutions to disputes.

3. Hear and decide on the withdrawal of appointment of a member of the lupon.


4. Enforce by execution, through the Punong Barangay, the settlement or arbitration award.
5. Exercise such other power and perform such other duties and functions as may be
prescribed by law or ordinance.

Section II. The Punong Barangay as Lupon Chairman shall:

1. Determine with 15 days from the start of his term, the actual number of the members (not
less than 10 nor more than 20) that will constitute the lupon and take into consideration
the barangay population and the volume of disputes previously brought for conciliation in
his barangay.
2. Prepare a notice to constitute the lupon within the above mentioned the period, which
shall include the names of proposed members who are residing or working in the
barangay, not otherwise expressly disqualified by law.
3. The list of name shall be at least five (5) more than the actual number previously
determine. The notice shall contain an invitation to the Barangay Member (resident) to
endorse or oppose the proposed appointment of any person included in the list, in which
endorsement opposition or recommendation shall be made within the period of posting.
4. Post said notice in the three (3) conspicuous places within the barangay for a period or
not less than three (3) weeks.
5. Appoint not less than 10 nor more than 20 suitable persons as lupon members from the
list of names contained in the notice within 10 days from the last day of posting, after
considering endorsement of or opposition to the proposed appointees and
recommendation for the appointment of other person not included in the list. He shall
likewise appoint immediately a qualified person to any vacancy that may there after
occur in the lupon for any cause.
6. Swear the appointees into office sign their appointment paper, and have them attested to
by the Barangay Secretary.
7. Post the list of appointment lupon members in three (3) conspicuous places in the
Barangay for the entire duration of their term of office.
8. Withdraw the appointment of any lupon member for justifiable cause with concurrence of
a majority of all members.

Section IV. This order shall take effect immediately.
