SIGNIFICANT LEARNINGS:

Education is a vital human right that is essential for achieving long-term

growth. The department's mission is to empower every Filipino kid and
commit to advancing the educational goal; as a result, the planning process
identifies important priority areas for improvement.

Educational Planning is very important because it makes sure an

institution’s success. It focuses in the development, and implementation
of strategies designed to attain, efficiently and effectively, the educational
needs and goals of students and society. Also, for me, a successful and
well-organized planning saves effort, time, and money. This also
provide better quality education to the learners and good rapport to
the society

REFLECTIONS:

Educational Planning involves examining the future and drawing up a

course of action for attaining specific goals. It means working out in
broad outline the things to be done and the procedures for doing
them to accomplish set purpose . Planning is intelligent
preparation for action. It is a process of deciding in advance what
todo, how to do it,when to do it and who should do it.It bridges the gap
from where w e areand where w e want t o go. Educationl Planning is
therefore, future-oriented. It is concerned with the future and
involves predicting the effect of future events so that hindrances of
the present could be minimized or eliminated in order to meet the
future with more confidence and success
Meaning and Significance in Actual Workplace:

One of the most important aspects of obtaining a good basic

education is educational planning. DepEd, being the government's primary
agency in charge of providing basic educational services, ensures that all
programs, projects, and activities are well-planned. Each plan is
meticulously designed to achieve the department's mission, vision, and
goals before launching any educational programs, projects, or activities.
We are drafting school policies that are realistic and applicable in our
school. Because we are on the front lines, we know what our learners need
in terms of instructional materials, we can avoid any negative situations or
doubts that may arise during the planning process.

Application in Life:

The importance of education in the development of any

n a t i o n c a n n o t b e overemphasized. There is an increasing belief in
the power of education to transform the society. Education is viewed as
an instrument per excellence for national development. Education is
needed for the social, economic, political and technological
transformation of the nation. It is education that can transform the
economy of a country from where it is to where it should be. Therefore,
for education to play its leading role in the development of a nation, it
needs to be properly planned, taking into consideration the needs and
aspirations of the citizenry, the social, cultural and technological
changes as well as the impact of globalization on the growth and
development of the country.
