Advertising is a persuasive form of communication aimed at


promoting products, services, or ideas and influencing the
behavior of the target audience. It creates demand, builds brands,
shapes behaviors, and contributes to the economy.
Ads are designed to persuade and convince. They employ
persuasive techniques such as emotional appeals, storytelling, and
psychological triggers to influence our purchasing decisions and
behaviors..
The choice of my research topic, Tesla, was aimed at representing
the emotional appeal that the company develops in its
advertisements, persuading people to acquire its products. An
example of this influence is the obvious association with Elon
Musk when we mention Tesla, as he is the primary influence
behind choosing to acquire this product.
Through my oral presentation, I couldn't fully convey my
perspective on the advertisement presented. However, I believe
that, despite this, I delivered a good presentation in which I
elaborated and utilized the vocabulary I've learned in the
classroom.
In conclusion, despite some technical shortcomings and not being
able to fully convey my perspective, I believe I did a good job and
deserve a passing grade for my work.
