I. Introduction
We are going to propose a project which is “Nipa Hut with painted Inspirational
quotes” in Taloy Sur National High School-Senior Campus to unused lot near the stair to the
H.E. The painted inspirational quotes will be posted outside and inside the nipa hut. The
materials to be used will be bamboo, wood, and nipa grass.
This project will be used as a study area of the students. This nipa hut provides shade
in the summer. All sides are open to give light and to allow for airflow. We want also this to
be part of the beautification of the school.
We are going to coordinate to the Barangay in creating this project “Nipa Hut with
Inspirational quotes.” Barangay official are ready to help and support our project. One of
their role is to help and provide the needs of the community.
This project is not just for the beautification of the school but to help the students
relax their minds specially when they want to breath fresh air and be alone. They also feel as
if they went for a walk on an eco-park. This will lead them to be excite in entering the school
because of the beauty they see.

II. Rationale of the Study

The Nipa Hut project at Taloy Sur National High School in Asinan, Taloy Sur,Tuba,
Benguet faces several problems that need to be addressed. One of the main issues is the lack
of fund for the project. The school does not have enough resources to be construct the nipa
huts and purchased the necessary materials. Additionally, there is a shortage of skilled labor
in the area, making it difficult to find individuals who can properly construct the huts.
Furthermore, there are concerns the maintenance of the nipa hut once they are
constructed. The school does not have a dedicated maintenance team, and it is unclear how
the huts will be kept in good condition over time.
In order to address these problems, the school needs to fund ways to secure funding
and resources for the project. This include seeking grant or donation from local business and
organizations. Additionally, the school needs to work on building support from the
community by educating them on the benefits of the nipa huts. Finally, a maintenance plan
needs to be put in place to ensure that the nipa huts are kept in good condition over time.
Nipa Hut with Inspirational Quotes in a school depends on the specific context of the
project. In general, a nipa hut cam symbolizes traditional Filipino culture and architecture.
Including inspirational quotes could serve to educate and inspire students about the
importance of motivation and positive thinking. The project could be used to teach students

beliefs of the people who live in it. Additionally, the project could be used to promote the
importance of preserving traditional architecture and cultural heritage. Overall, the inclusion

area for learners, educating, inspiring, promoting cultural heritage and encouraging to think
positively. The inspirational quotes that are often displayed on the wall of the nipa hut in a
school can serve as a source of motivation and encouragements for students. They can also be

achieving their goals.

III. Project Description

We plan to start making nipa hut in February 1 and it ends in April 17, 2023. We will
approach the local government to help us. We expect that it will be useful for us to use. It
also benefits in terms of environment, utilization and income generation. It serves as a shelter
from average wind and rain. We promise that it is constructed to perfectly adopt to the
tropical climate.
