School Theme:

“Rrrriiinnnggg!!!”, the sound of the bell rang. The school hallways buzzed with excitement as
a new academic year commenced. I was on cloud nine as I prepared to embark on my educational
journey. Little did I know that I would encounter an event that would forever shape my perspective.

My first experience in this school was filled with excitement and anxiety. Everyone was like
ants walking around. Suddenly, my ears were softly penetrated with murmurs of a gossip among the
students—a tale of a haunted classroom, where strange occurrences were said to take place after
hours.

Curiosity got the better of me, and one evening, armed with a flashlight, I dared to enter the
darkened room. A sudden gust of wind extinguished the light, plunging me into darkness. Panic
ensued as I frantically searched for an exit. In my haste, I stumbled and fell, the accident leaving me
with a scraped knee and bruised ego.

As I laid on the floor, this unforgettable moment slowly reminded me of my mother’s last
advice. It was on my mother’s deathbed when my mother said, “My child, whatever you do in life,

think things through first before you proceed to take actions.” Tears fell down my cheeks like
waterfall when I thought about my late mother.

In that moment, I realized that school was not just about textbooks and exams. It was life,
where accidents happen, first experiences shape us, scary stories ignite our imaginations, and sad
stories remind us of our shared humanity.

Friendship Theme:

It was a dark night, without moon or stars, accompanied by a cold wind blowing tirelessly.
We gathered around a flickering campfire, eager to share scary stories. The crackling flames danced
with our laughter, but beneath the surface, fear gripped our hearts. It was during that chilling tale,
with goosebumps crawling up our arms, something unpredicted happened.

Surprisingly, my first camping experience was not as what I thought it would be. Apparently,
I was having a whale of time there. Suddenly, “Crrraacckk…,” the sound of branches breaking,
emerged in the woods behind us. I turned my head to check on the sound, there was nothing there.

All of a sudden, Alex, my friend who was sitting in front of me, stood up, with eyes opened
so wide, pointed to the woods behind me. Immediately, I turned around and saw a huge bear
galloping towards us. “Rrruunnn!!!”, Alex shouted. Before I could react, the bear started to swing its
arm, aiming towards my head. I closed my eyes, thinking I was going to kick the bucket.

To my surprise, I just fell without a hint of pain. I opened my eyes and discovered that Alex
was in a pool of blood. Seemingly, he had pushed me away and got wounded by the bear. The bear
went away thinking both of us died. I looked around and the others were nowhere to be found.

In that moment, I realized that Alex passed away. Even though accidents happen, I should’ve
known better to research the place first before choosing it as the for my activities. This catastrophe
was the most imperative life lesson for me.

Family Theme:

One sunny afternoon, as we began our family road trip, something unexpected happened. A
reckless driver swerved into our lane, causing a heart-stopping collision. In that moment, fear
engulfed us, but luckily, we were not injured.

As a child, it was my first experience of such a terrifying incident. The accident made me
acutely aware of how unpredictable life is and the importance of embracing each moment with
gratitude and joy. It became the turning point in my perception of the world.

Amidst the turmoil, a sad story unfolded. As we were being examined in the hospital, the
doctor approached us. Holding the x-ray sheet, he took of his glasses and told us, “I’m sorry, but
from the examination we discovered that Mr. Alex has stage 4 cancer.” Hearing the news, my
mother collapsed to the floor.

 In the midst of this devastating period, father did not put up a sad face and give up. With
strong determination, he relentlessly conquered this obstacle. His resilience and unwavering
positivity became a guiding light for me. Through his example, I learned that adversity can be
overcome with a strong spirit.

In the end, father was able to be cured from cancer. During a serene sunset, we gathered as
a family and basked in the beauty of nature. In that quiet moment, we realized that the true essence
of life lies in the connections we forge and the memories we create.

Study Theme:

In the quiet town of Lahad Datu, young Amelia was intensively flipping through her book,
hitting the books to prepare for the examination. Eager to pass with flying colours, she worked her
hardest as it is the biggest examination of the year, unaware of the challenges that awaited her.

As fate would have it, an unexpected accident derailed Amelia's plans. While studying that
evening, a bookshelf collapsed, showering her with a cascade of heavy books. Bruised and shaken,
she realized the fragility of her aspirations. However, in that moment, a flame of determination
flickered within her.

Undeterred by the incident, Amelia continued studying. Her mind absorbed knowledge like a
parched desert welcomes rainfall. A few minutes later, the window on her right suddenly got blown
open by a strong wind. Again, distracting her from her studies. She closed the window and continued

wrong with it. To add on to her suspicion, she recalled that it was newly bought. She looked outside,

In the end, Amelia embraced the challenges that had experienced. She understood that the
path to success was not always smooth, but she possessed the resilience to overcome obstacles.
Ignoring the mysterious occurrences, she continued studying.
