Topic: How Odin Lost his eye

Reference: Celebrating Multiculturism Through World Literature

(Grade10 Learner’s Material) pp. 82-86

Materials: Powerpoint Presentation, Visual aids, Projector and Laptop.

some pieces of papers and please arrange (Students picks-up pieces of paper and arrang
your chairs in a straight line. their chairs)

Again what is a verb?

Verb –shows an action and state of being.

only show action, but also can be state of
being.
We have 3 types of verbs

Helping verbs

last topic. So, now let’s proceed for our new
lesson.

Class, A human being has five senses, which The five senses of man are
are very important for us to live. Now, who Sight/ eyes
can state the five senses of man? Smell/nose
Taste/tongue
Hear/ears.

What sense of a man that is considered as

the mirror of our soul?
Sense of sight

What will happen to us if we lost our sight?

Our eyes can experience a total darkness.

Can a person be happy if he had only one eye

left?
No, ma’am. A person is not very happy if he ha
only one eye.

He can have a poor sight

match with the meanings written in a strip
of cartolina or printed matter.

at Great Barington Massachusetts, She wrote
mythical stories. One of her stories was
“How Odin Lost His Eye”.
She died on Sept. 6, 1999 at aged 83.
