At the end of the lesson, students are able to

through the use of photographs.
b. Analyze the relationship between characters and events in
the story.
c. Appreciate the moral of the story by listening and viewing
the story and learn the language and new words.

1. Motivation

Before we start our discussion, we are going


to have an activity called “Paste Me”
The task that you will do is very simple. You
need to understand the instructions very well

Pick leaves from the basket. Every leaves has a
respective numbers. Write instances where you
almost gave up and someone came to save
you. State who are they and what they have
does to make you feel better. Also, there are four

paste on the board. Make sure that you should
paste the leaves on its corresponding number on
the board.

Johnsy when she found out that Mr. Behrman
painted the leaf outside and died because of
pneumonia.

Re-enact the last scene of the story when Johnsy


found out about everything
