COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with the professional conduct and ethical standards of professionals, and as Criminologist in the practice of their profession and field of specialization;
Governing ethical codes both in government and private sectors and their relevance to human relation. Part of professional ethics is the understanding of the ethics
of other profession; how they interact and what can be expected from them as correct ethical behavior.
At the end of these lessons, the students will be able to:

1. Explain the foundations of ethics and values.


COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES: 2. Discuss the salient points of the PNP code of professional conduct.
3. Evaluate the PNP core values and virtues and its impact to their performance.
4. Recite the law enforcement code of ethics in today’s setting.
5. Appraise the moral/ethical weaknesses of the PNP causing incompetence and propose a solution for the problem.
6. Provide specific recommendations to upgrade the PNP capabilities after evaluating the law enforcement code of ethics, the code
of professional conduct, ethical standards, and the PCR system
