This course includes the study of the different methods and techniques in lie detection. The
anatomy of lying, its theory, kinds and types. It includes the conduct of polygraph examination. It

2. EMAIL POLICY: E-mail is one of the best ways to contact me. E-mail should be used to set up appointments and ask short
questions for clarification, but not to replace class attendance and participation.

 Our online classroom is Moodle. Here you can access course documents, possible assignments and stay in contact with
both your instructor and classmate. If you experience difficulty accessing our online classroom, please notify your
instructor immediately through other social media platform-messenger or Facebook or text messages.

 Be it known that late assignments or submitted after the given deadline will not be considered as I will set in our
MOODLE Learning Management System (LMS). You may submit them in other platforms before the set deadline.
 Citation guidance: in any essay assignments, we use APA style in this class when you cite from resources other than
your own in any graded writing assignment. Please make sure that you know how to make in-text citation and
bibliography following APA style. Feel free to ask me if you need additional information on APA.
 Please know that citation from websites based on user-generated content, such as Wikipedia.org, dictionary.com,
about.com will result in deduction of points.

4. COURSE REQUIREMENTS
 Updated photo ID (1.5 x 1.5 in size) of each student to be sent to my email account.
 3 Major examinations and quizzes (Midterm Pre-Final and Final Examinations)

 Online forum discussion (it is advised to download google meet application or other free forum discussion apps such
as messenger and Facebook per section) for possible synchronous method or for virtual class. Zoom app is also
welcome.
 Keep a record of your classroom evaluation like the scores on quizzes, essays, etc.

5. COMPUTATION OF GRADES:
MIDTERM GRADE = 60% CS (Class Standing – quizzes, assignments, worksheets) + 40% (Midterm Exam)
PRE-FINAL GRADE = 60% CS (Class Standing - quizzes, assignments, worksheets) + 40% (Final Exam)
FINAL GRADE = 50% Midterm Grade + 50% Pre-Final Grade
