After four years, the students of the BS Criminology program shall be able to: COLLEGE
GOAL
1. Engage in lifelong learning and understand about the concept of crime and criminology.
2. Practice professionals, social and ethical attitudes, values and responsibilities
3. Apply knowledge essential to the contact of criminological research on crimes, crime causation, victims,
and offenders to include deviant behaviour.
4. Apply knowledge, skills essential to the practice of crime detection and investigation and fields of
criminalistics.
5. Apply knowledge, skills in criminal law, evidence, and procedure
6. Apply knowledge in law enforcement procedure.
7. Apply knowledge, skills in handling offender’s welfare and development for their reintegration to the
community.
8. Apply ability to participate in the generation of new knowledge or in research and development projects.

3. Course Description This course deals with principles of ethical behaviour in modern society at the level of the person, society, and
interaction with the environment and other shared resources. Morality pertains to the standards of right and wrong
that an individual originally picks up from the community. It also teaches the students to make moral decisions by
using dominant moral frameworks.
