TOPIC: Health Prevention Education and Information Dissemination for Smoking and
Alcohol Intoxication Prevention and Cessation to all Youth.

AGE TARGET: 15 to 24 years old

Teaching youth regarding the


consequences of smoking and drinking on
S (Specific) the health, as well as methods to avoid
smoking and alcohol, in order to foster
good health.
Occurrences in the community that related
to smoking and alcohol should be lessen

individuals.
The symposium will be held in order for
the adolescents to acquire and learn
crucial information in order for them to
A (Actionable) become aware of the risks and strategies
to prevent engagement with smoking and
drinking, which will lead to the protection
of their health.
A positive outcome and awareness for
youths are established in order for them to
R (Realistic) refrain from smoking and drinking in
order to enhance health and wellness in
the community.
The symposium will last 1 to 2 hours and
will be followed by recreational activities
T (Timely) to reinforce their core understanding about
not smoking and becoming intoxicated by
alcohol.
Cognitive Domain Youth should be able to distinguish
between right and wrong choices when it
comes to their health. They should also be
able to use what they have learnt in real-
life settings in order to avoid smoking and
alcohol consumption, which can
ultimately lead to disease. As a result,
knowing and understanding how to
manage their health will aid them in
avoiding such conditions.
Youth should be able to think and feel
about what is more important besides
engaging themselves into smoking and
alcohol. They should also be able to feel
the risks and able to accept and take

responsibility on whatever happens.
Therefore, with the capabilities to
understand feelings and desire of people
will furthermore enhance their emotion
control towards smoking and alcohol.
Upon having to engage youths in
recreational activities, they should be
capable of carrying out initiative
capabilities and contextual interactions
Psychomotor Domain incorporating their ability to think
critically and applying it through their
motor behaviors to promote health and
wellness in terms of smoking and alcohol
activity.
