4 This document explains how to obtain support for Qualcomm Extensible Diagnostic Monitor
5 (QXDM).

6 1.2 Scope
7 This document is intended for customers (i.e., MSM™ licensees, or QCT Tools customers) who
8 require support for issues related to QXDM.

9 1.3 Conventions
10 Function declarations, function names, type declarations, and code samples appear in a different
11 font, e.g., #include.
12 Shading indicates content that has been added or changed in this revision of the document.

1 2 Support Information

2 2.1 Support for QXDM issues


3 Support for issues related to QXDM can be obtained by submitting a case (previously known as a
4 Service Request (SR)) to Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT).
5 To submit a case, refer to Section 1.5 and be prepared to provide the following information:
6 „ A complete description of the issue and information relevant to reproducing the issue. Include
7 the following information:
8 Name of the specific QXDM view (or QXDM feature)
9 Target and build information of the device QXDM is connecting to
10 QPST™ and QXDM version being used
11 If the connection is via the Qualcomm USB driver, the version of the installed Qualcomm
12 USB driver
13 „ Supporting data – At a minimum, this includes an Item Store Format (ISF) file that
14 demonstrates the issue. If the ISF file size is greater than 1 MB, compress the file. Additional
15 supporting data may include the following:
16 User-authored, dynamic parsing DLLs
17 User-created QXDM database files
18 QXDM configuration file
