1. RETURN OF COMPONENTS TO WÄRTSILÄ
SWITZERLAND LTD FOR INVESTIGATION

When for any reason, engine components are requested to be sent to Wärtsilä
Switzerland, it is very important for us to have exact details of the particular part.
This data is necessary for a correct judgement and/or investigation of the parts
concerned. Please ensure that the enclosed sheet is completed and send it to us by
fax or e-mail to: Fax +41 52 262 0731, e-mail: techservice.ch@wartsila.com
The enclosed data sheet has to be included in the shipment as well.
In any case the return of parts for investigation has to be agreed prior to the
shipment.

2 RETURN OF SPARE PARTS

Spare parts delivered by Wärtsilä that have to be returned due to

wrong delivery or defective parts have to be send back to the
warehouse from which the original order was dispatched.
The following information has to be included in the box:
• Original order
• Position and code number
• Reason for return

3 SPARE PARTS NOT TO BE RETURNED

Spare parts that will not be credited as well as inexpensive

items should not be returned. Do not return items such as:

- Incomplete parts
- Already used parts
- Damaged or corroded parts
- O-rings
- Gaskets
- Parts with total value below 100€ (GLP)
- Parts delivered more than 6 months ago
