1. Go to the contents of Unit 3, check the OVA Simple Past tense.

2. Choose one of the titles below and write a short story in the simple past tense. Your

story should include at least five sentences, describing a past event or experience. ¡Be

creative! You can write about a personal experience or create a fictional story.

"A Magical Adventure in the Forest"

On December 20th, I ventured into the heart of Colombia to explore a

magical forest. The air was filled with a sense of enchantment as I entered,

surrounded by lush greenery and the songs of exotic birds. The first event

that unfolded was the discovery of a hidden waterfall, its crystal-clear

waters cascading down moss-covered rocks. Mesmerized, I marveled at

the natural beauty that lay hidden within the depths of the enchanted

woods.

 As I continued my journey, a vibrant butterfly landed on my shoulder,

guiding me deeper into the mystical realm. The forest seemed to come

alive with every step, and soon I stumbled upon an ancient tree with

intricate carvings telling tales of forgotten times. Running my fingers over

the markings, I felt a connection to the mystical history of the magical

forest.

Further along, the ground beneath my feet trembled, and to my

amazement, a family of deer gracefully pranced by. Their eyes held a

wisdom that spoke of the harmonious coexistence between nature and

magic in this wondrous place. It was a surreal moment that etched itself

into my memory.

As the day unfolded, I reached a clearing where a group of fairies

danced in the dappled sunlight. They giggled and twirled, leaving a trail of

sparkles in their wake. I couldn't help but join in, feeling the pure joy of the

magical creatures and becoming a part of their whimsical celebration.

Finally, just as the sun dipped below the horizon, I stumbled upon a

hidden portal. With a heart full of gratitude, I stepped through, leaving the

magical forest behind. As I returned to the ordinary world, I carried with me

the memories of a day filled with wonder discovery.
