RECYCLING CENTER EXT. DAY-SUMMER

A man finishes drinking a bottle of coke as he walks to the


front of the line.

MAN
(smacks his lips) Ahhh!

WOMAN
Hello sir, how can I help you?

The man places the empty bottle on the counter in front of


her.

MAN
Here you go, and the name is JAMES, no
need to call me sir.

The woman looks at the bottle surprised.

WOMAN
Really?

JAMES
Really, my name is James.

WOMAN
What? No..I meant really, just ONE
bottle.

JAMES
Oh, yeah.

WOMAN
Here you go "JAMES".

The woman hands him a nickel.

James hold up the nickel.

JAMES
Thanks.(beat) And what was your name?

WOMAN
It's Lisa. Next!

James walks away smiling.

Lisa? huh?

RECYCLING CENTER EXT. DAY-FALL

James walks up to the counter in heavy jacket and scarf.

JAMES
Good morning Lisa.

LISA
You again?

James puts an empty bottle up on the counter.

Lisa smiles and hands him a nickel.

JAMES
I'll be seeing you next week.

LISA
I look forward to it.

RECYCLING CENTER EXT. DAY-WINTER

James walks up to the counter in earmuffs and mittens with


snow on his shoulders, he shivers.

JAMES
Brrrr, cold one out there today.

LISA
I got worried when you didn't come in
last week.

JAMES
Sorry about that, I missed you too.

The two of them blush and turn away from each other.

Lisa hands James a nickel.

RECYCLING CENTER EXT. DAY-SPRING

James walks up and places a bottle on the counter with a note


in it and walks away.

Lisa tries to speak and stop James. She looks suprised that
James didn't say hello. She holds up the bottle and sees the
note. Lisa smiles as reads it. FADE OUT.
