We respectfully request you to sponsor and pass a bill in our Congress
making our Rizalina Watershed in Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte a
protected area and have the bill approved into a law in order to
regulate logging at our watershed. The draft of the provisions of our
proposed bill is attached. Continued tree-cutting at the watershed
may result to a landslide during heavy rain because of soil erosion and
that may result to the loss of lives of the residents living at the
watershed area and the destruction of properties of the residents at
the area. We need your urgent help.
Matinahuron kaming nagahangyo kanimo sa pagpasaka ug usa ka balaod sa atong Kongreso
nga mahimo ang atong Rizalina watershed sa Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte nga usa ka
protektado nga lugar para ma kontrol ang logging sa atong watershed. Ang among sugyut
nga balaod gisukip ni-ining petisyon. Ang kanunay nga pagpamutol sa mga kahoy sa
watershed mo dangat sa usa ka kalamidad kay ang kanunay nga pagpamutol sa mga kahoy
sa maong lugar modangat sa usa ka landslide kung kusog ang ulan ug mahimong hinungdan
sa kamatayon sa mga lumulupyo sa watershed area ug sa kadautan sa mga kabtangan sa
mga lumulupyo sa maong lugar. Gikinahanglan namo ang imong dinalian nga tabang.
