Vision

I always start by writing down a big picture. Whether it's a new project, a
side business, or a personal idea.

A short, clear vision of how I would like to see it.

In other words, vision is your motivation. It gives direction and answers
your WHY.

Always start with the END - the Big Picture matters

If you don't know how to start creating your vision, here are some
exercises that can help you:

- Write a Wikipedia page about yourself. Describe how people

(family, friends, clients) will remember you and your
accomplishments.

- Describe what your ideal ordinary day or week would look like.

- Define the most important areas in your life in order

Example

I have defined 4 important areas of my life:

1. Health and fitness

2. Family, friends, and relationships

3. Money (financial freedom, security)

4. Happiness, joy, adventures (travel, food, hobbies).

Based on this, I can create a brief vision for each of them. Let's take
the first point, my health.

Here's the vision:

I am fit, healthy, and feel great every day. I am in the best shape of my life:
I weigh 75 kg, run 10 km, and practice meditation and yoga. I ski every
year in amazing world resorts.

As you can see from my vision, I identify the things I care about most.

In my vision, I run and ski, but to be able to do that, I need to exercise

regularly.

This is where I focus on my goals. Basically, a vision is the result of goals

and tasks.

Goals

Ok, now we change the rules of the game.

Usually, people set goals like lose 10 kg or run a half-marathon. In our

approach, it's a vision, a big picture.

The goal is never the result.

So what is the goal? The goal is to do things. Your goal is to commit to

action!

This means that goals should be specific, measurable, and achievable.

Through your goals, you create actions and build habits that will
ultimately create your vision for life.

There is one more thing.

Most people can't be consistent over the long term. The hardest thing is
to keep doing things without visible results. But if you set action-based
goals, it will help you achieve the target result.

Example

When my vision is to be healthy, fit, and lose weight, I can set specific
goals:

- Exercise 6 times a week for 30 minutes.

- Try a meditation challenge for 21 days

- Familiarize myself with the slow-carb diet and write down its
rules

- Drinking a glass of water every morning

- Practice yoga 1x a week

Your goals can be a mix of habits (drinking water every morning) or

one-time actions or projects (learning the slow-carb diet).

Remember that your goals don't make you special. It's the actions you
take that make you special.

Tasks

If you know what is most important, you can prioritize your actions.

Vision -> goals -> priorities

Now is the time to schedule your tasks over time.

You don't want to do everything at once. Choose something that will be

your priority.

I set goals and tasks for a short period. Usually, it is 3 to 6 weeks. This is
enough time to build a new habit and focus on a specific area of your
vision.

Example

I choose a 3-week time frame for a maximum of 3 goals:

- Exercise 6x a week (this is what I want to do in the long term,

non-negotiable)

- Meditation challenge (something I want to try out, see how I

feel, and maybe create a habit)

- Studying the slow-carb diet (this is what I want to learn and then
continue)

All these tasks can be added to a task app. This can be Todoist, Apple
Reminders, or a physical notebook.

Now your goal is to regularly cross off each task (depending on whether
it is a daily or weekly task).

These tasks are part of the goals you set. This is how you make real
progress.

Summary and final tips

● Vision (WHY) -> Your priorities (WHAT) -> Tasks and habits
(WHEN)

● Now you know the importance of having a vision, setting specific

goals, and making progress every day. This way you will achieve
everything you need.

● Focus on ONE thing. That ONE thing becomes my priority.

● Try to find quick wins. That famous 20% that produces 80% of the
results.

● Make sure you read your goals regularly so you always know what
is important and what to focus on.

● Use to-do lists. I don't have to think about what I need to do,
which saves me a huge amount of time.

● Set automatic reminders. Especially for habits, things you do every

day. After a few weeks, this habit will become a natural routine for
you.
