Statement of the Problem

The purpose of this phenomenological study is to explore the challenges and

benefits of motorcycle ownership among G11 students of AMPMNHS school year
2023-2024, providing insights on how this mode of transportation benefits them and
the challenges their facing. Specifically, this research seeks to answer the following
questions:

1. What are the challenges that G11 students of AMPMNHS face when owning a
motorcycle?
2. What are the benefits that G11 students of AMPMNHS gain from owning a
motorcycle?
3. How aware are the G11 students of AMPMNHS in terms of safety concerns,
such as accidents and injuries?

Scope and Delimitation of the Study

This study will be conducted at Alejo M. Pacalso Memorial National High

School (AMPMNHS) in Bua, Tuding, Itogon, Benguet. The participants of this study
limit its coverage to five G11 students only. Its main purpose is to explore the
challenges and benefits of motorcycle ownership that they encounter and are to
propose possible solutions regarding these problems.

This study explores with the challenges that G11 students face when owning
a motorcycle; and the benefits that they gain from owning a motorcycle for their
personal transportation. Each of the respondents will be interviewed individually.
