A: 明天我要去见我女朋友的爸爸。
mı́ngtiān wǒ yào qù jiàn wǒ nü
ǔpéngyou de bàba.
Tomorrow I’m going to see my girlfriend’s dad.

B: 是吗？你准备好了吗？
shı̀ ma? nı̌ zhǔnbèihǎo le ma?
Really? Are you well prepared?

A: 还没有。我不知道买什么礼物好。
hái méiyǒu. wǒ bù zhı̄dào mǎi shénme lı̌wù hǎo.
Not yet. I have no idea what gift I should buy.

B: 他喜欢喝茶吗？好的茶叶是不错的礼物。

Does he like to drink tea? Good tea is a good gift.

A: 对。茶是很健康的饮料。但是我应该买哪种茶叶
呢？

nǎ zhǒng cháyè ne?
Yeah. Tea is a very healthy drink. But which kind of tea

 B: 好的绿茶是最保险的选择。比如龙井或者碧螺
春。一般男性都喜欢喝绿茶，尤其是上了年纪
的。

ùchá shı̀ zuı̀ bǎoxiǎn de xuǎnzé. bı̌rú Lóngjı̌ng huò-

You are right. I’ll just give Longjing to her dad.
